After sanding, fairing, filling screwholes and priming with Awlgrip High Build primer and Awlgrip 545 Expoxy primer, Stars and Stripes' cockpit area is getting painted with Awlgrip Topcoat, a polyester based high gloss topcoat giving long lasting gloss and color retention.

High gloss Whisper Grey for the for the vertical surfaces and waterways, flattened Whisper Grey for horizontal non-skid areas, and flattened Light Grey for the footblocks.

The entire painting process is being done while allowing for regular chartering of the boat. This means adhering to a tight schedule, getting things done on time and being "lucky" with the weather!

At the completion of the vertical surfaces and "center console", the floor and it's nonskid gets done.
